News 12 Scholar-Athletes
Congratulations to two Bay Shore High School seniors who have been selected as News 12 Scholar-Athletes: Katie Lawlor and Marissa O'Meally, both nominated by Varsity Swimming Coach Mariusz Borkowski for their tremendous work ethic that enables them to succeed in the classroom as well as in the athletic arena.
Intel Semi-finalist- Deborah Boktor
Congratulations to senior Deborah Boktor on being named an Intel Science Competition Semi-finalist. Her research project is entitled, "Electrospinning PVA: The Effects of Solution Conditions and Voltage on the Morphology and Fiber Diameter," finding the smallest fibers used for water purification.
